“Black Hole” is a series of images, which shows paint modeled by centripetal force. The setup is very simple: Various shades of acrylic paint are dripped onto a metallic rod, which is connected to a drill. When switched on, the paint starts to move away from the rod, creating these amazing looking structures.

The mighty Quantel Paintbox with it’s custom hardware and 10 years of know how behind it, verses version 1 of Adobe Photoshop, running on a Macintosh Classic for a 10th of the cost.
The pin-up paintings (and photographs, of course) were created by Gil Elvgren, one of America’s most notable pin-up artists. What you may not realize (we didn’t at first), is that the photographs all show the same model — Elvgren’s wife — though she appears with different haircuts, and obviously wearing every outfit under the sun.
